"Clean your room" is a phrase that can be heard around our house quite often. But just because we say it doesn't mean it actually comes to fruition.
-I don't know how
-It's too messy
-A1/A2/A3 isn't cleaning her part!
(Three girls)...yep
-It is clean
-I'm busy playing
-That doesn't sound fun
-How about we do it tomorrow
The list goes on and on!
My usual response is to get a large trash bag and then like the anti-Santa, I fill the bag up with all the crap on the floor. Through the cries of "not that one it's my favorite." With a wink of my eye through the cries and woes , out to the curb the bag goes.
The new strategy: told them I will take a photo of the trash and clutter infused pandamonium and paste it on Facebook for grandparents and friends to see. They didn't think that was a good idea. Haha. We'll see....
This last cleaning also involved hair! A2 decided she and A3 needed to take scissors and trim up. Sigh.
