Beaver Lake AR

Beaver Lake AR - Trip Highlights also known as "the stuff we got pictures of"

On the road!  Headed to Beaver Lake AR  The kids are watching frozen on the iPad.

Ainsley really wanted chocolate pancakes for breakfast.  And she thoroughly enjoyed them.

Finally at the state boarder!

What is this thing?  Some type of mythical creature called a payphone?  I have heard horror stories from back in olden times when they would steal quarters and infect people with germs.

Stopped at a chapel done by one of Frank Lloyd Wright's students, or something like that!  It was pretty cool.

Gotta love some panorama!!

Danna and mi madre.

The kiddos

The view from the house we rented on Beaver lake.  Yes another panorama.  And you love it.

Ainsley the fisherwonderwoman
 .
This rock was next to the driveway on the way down from the road.  Not dangerous at all.  I did click a pic before yelling at them to get down.

Foosball table included and well played.  We also played pin pong
Foosball table included and well played.

Abby kept searching for big rocks and then hauling them onto the dock so she could throw them off.  funny yes?

Fire pit, um, ¿Cómo se dice AWESOME!! fire fire fire.  It actually got so hot that our beer and wine bottles melted!  Never seen that happen in all my campfire/bonfire/firefire years.

We went to another of this dude's chapel creations.  I guess he built like 9 or so of them throughout the state.

Grandma handing out candy.  She cant help herself.

Eureka Springs!!

This is a fun little town.  Built into the side of the mountain hill.  I cant really call it a mountain because I lived in WA and when you cant see the top, that's a mountain.

This little house on the corner was for sale.

Tree sweater?  Hmm, not sure that is going to be a big seller.

So much easier to take the trolley into town then to find parking spots.

Stopped to grab a bite.

There were some cool buildings and all streets angled up.

Danna stopped to buy some nuts.  I kept the bag.

Here is princess Danna with her Hot Buttered Rum.  It was yummy.

his BBQ Spice/ Hot Sauce store had this rid-able elephant up front with all of these bells on it.  Of course our kids all had to put in money and ride it.  But the funny part was how annoying the bells were, we heard several customers complaining to each other about it as they left the store.  lol
 T

Cant visit a nice little town with out checking in at their local tobacco shop.  Cigars were consumed that evening.

On the way back to the house this day we stopped at what was toted to be a "natural rock bridge" and blah blah.  I stopped listening but the kids were excited so we payed our pieces of silver for the walk.

This is the "natural rock bridge"  now it is actually a lot steeper than it looks from this angle.  We promptly yelled at Adison to get down!

The kids lined up under the rock bridge for a glamorous photo.

Abby showed off her climbing talents as well.

And here is the "blah blah", I don't remember what they called it because I wasn't listening.  Frankly I was tired of walking.  But it turned out to be pretty cool.

This guy looks like he is pondering the meaning of rocks and stuff.

And they are out!  Our niece is there on the right.  Adison was riding in Aunt Anna and Uncle Isaac's car.

Goodbyes said and hugged out

Stopped for some grub.  Abbey was enthralled with the Ronald.
