KC Comicon 3/14-3/16 : Day 1

First day, first comicon.  Went with my loving wife and our two friends; Dana and Shawn Cobb.  Wasn't sure what to expect but I was not disappointed in the geek out.  Which I did most definitely when I saw all of the toys, costumes, art and loot!

The first day was 10am to7pm.  We got there early, scored a perfect parking spot across the street and stayed until 5:30pm.  With so much to see we mainly made rounds, talked to the artists and saw some great costumes.

Yea, super sweet R2D2 remote control droids!  

Hans was trapped in the truck bed.  Something about carbon freezing.

My fellow nerd-in-training (working on her for 14 years now).  D loved all of the Wonder Woman stuff we saw and even got to get some Sherlock swag.

Went to bed that night tired and sore from walking and walking and walking!!!
