All the dressed up Geeks got together for a glamorus photo!  Just sayin but I'll prob be with them next year.

 

Who is this guy!  Cant be Bill Shatner can it?  Yep and hes fast for being 102.

Here are the pins I picked up

It was great meeting the writers and artists.  There were quite a few who had just released their own works.

 
This is a nod to the old Grindhouse comics/books.  The book above is two sided.  One side is the first story, then flip it over and read from the other side for the second story.  The comic below goes with the one above it with the same name.  A prequel to the book in comic form.  Me likes.

These are some comics where the writers/artists were releasing their first issues.  And yes I got them all signed! woot.

 

I am a big fan of the Stephen King series of books entitled "The Dark Tower" and also his works that intertwine into the realm he created.  The Dark Tower graphic novels I have been looking to find for a long time now.  Mainly because I refuse to pay $25 a piece for them.  I was able to scoop them all up at the con for $25 total!!

 

This one was easy, $120 book of the first 50 Ultimate Spiderman comics.  $20 bucks!

Now some art.  Some are prints signed by the artists others are originals.  You can prob tell which is which.

 

So, I am pretty sure we all had a blast and are already talking about going next year and then to the total Geek out of San Diego Comicon!

 

*side note:  Switching from iPhone, iPad and computer while doing a blog post and adding pictures is a nightmare with the formatting police.  Please excuse anything not showing up where it should.  ugh!!
